Everything In Its Right Place

Product Placement, for you literary purists, is a form of advertising previously restricted to the famously whorish mediums of television and film.

The business of writing books: Unfortunately it’s not enough just to write them; they must be marketed as well. Without marketing, fewer people know about your book. When fewer people know about your book, fewer buy it. When fewer people buy your book, you’ll soon be looking for a new job. Thus the crass consideration.

The event involves you, the author, to submit a piece of fiction with the most organic and holistic product placements that befits your narrative. The winner will be judged on the ingenuity of the product placements, logical relevance in the narrative and the usual fictional tropes (language, grammar and your ability to keep your reader engrossed)

The Amazing Race – Ahmedabad edition!

This is our crazy take on the original show, only far kookier and, if we may say, a lot more fun! While it was introduced into our roster of events just last year, the excitement it generates precedes it. With everyone vying for a spot in the final six who get to go on this journey, there will be a preliminary round to help choose those we think are up, to take on the dust, and the heat of aapno Ahmedabad and have their wits in place to decipher the clues to find the seven locations spread across the city. The fastest team to return back home will be the proud winner of insane goodies and of course the much coveted title of Amazing Race winner. If you think you and a partner have just that right mix of resourcefulness and amazingness, we suggest you be here on October 29th and leave the fun to us. All registrations will be done on the spot.

About Us

The hardest button to unbutton would be to answer ‘Who we are?’ and ‘What we need?’ Let’s give this a shot. We are a generation which believes that we have the power to make the difference. It should be about my vision, my expression, and my innovation. We are a generation where the freedom to think is our unwritten fundamental right. It has to be about my ideas, my rights, and my needs. Our generation will include managers who market the experience, the emotion and the vision. It has to be about my strategy, my position and my consumer. We are an impatient generation. We are that future where the party and the work happens at the same place. It is about my beat, my environment and my deadlines. We make our dreams, we build our vision, we make the people of the world realize their ability.

We add the colour to the canvas.

Who am I? I am my canvas and we will make that change. MICANVAS 2010 – The annual brand management festival.
